To remedy this problem I reduced the hybernate time after sleep mode from “never” to “3 minutes” while plugged in. When it is not plugged in I left that setting at 2 hours. That’s why this device falls even more under the category of laptop and not tablet.

A tablet with no apps or very few apps is just not a tablet; period. Overall the surface pro 4 deserves a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. It is a good device and offers some nice and cool features, but is not the best thing ever either. Would I recommend it?
